David Ruiz – Bello, M.D

Dr Ruiz – Bello is board certified in Internal Medicine. He is bilingual and has experience in all areas of medicine including outpatient, hospital, and occupational. He is especially interested in preventative medicine and clearly understands how important disease prevention is in his patient’s  health.

Dr. Ruiz – bello was born in Bogota, Colombia. He completed his undergraduate studies at Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Senora del Rosario. Later he completed his medical studies at  Juan N Corpas and graduated top of his class in 2000. He worked in many rural areas in South America where his focus was public health and disease prevention. He later moved to New York to complete his internship and residency at Saint John’s Episcopal hospital. Dr. Ruiz – Bello worked at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth as a hospitalist for many years. He later transitioned to Nova medical care where he specialized in occupational medicine.  He is now eager to open his own practice where he can share his skills to improve the health of his patients.  He interests include diabetes and healing and prevention of disease through nutrition.

This physician couple have been married since 2003. They are dedicated parents to their 3 beautiful children. When they are not seeing patients in the clinic,  they are attending a tennis tournament as all three children are avid tennis players.  They have always envisioned a medical practice together but were waiting for their children to grow. They have decided that time is now. They understand the importance of balanced lifestyle and the challenges that come with it. They look forward to meeting their patients where they are and together helping them achieve their best level of health possible.
